15 minutes by car from Cassis, the largest calanque in La Ciotat offers two pebble beaches, one of which has a lifeguard station and a shower.
A restaurant is open there in the summer season.
It is reached by a path at the intersection of Avenue du Mugel and Avenue des Calanques. There is a large paying car park nearby.
The path leads to the first beach and continues to Mugel Park and Petit Mugel Beach.
The view is breathtaking on the green island and the Bec de l'Aigle. This is the ideal place for snorkeling with the family or for a first dive from the shore.
The seabed is rich in Posidonia and fish of various species.
